Tester Automation Engineer

Introduction & Summary:We are seeking 2–3 dedicated testers to join our team for test automation focused on the ‘S-KIPilot’ project. The successful candidates will collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and developers, employing agile methodologies alongside a waterfall model approach to transition towards automated testing solutions.Main Responsibilities:Support testing applications developed within the ‘S-KIPilot’ project.Engage in test planning and preparation by analyzing requirement documents and creating test strategies.Execute various tests, including manual tests and automated test scripts.Document bugs precisely and provide tracking until resolution.Conduct non-functional testing for performance, security, and usability.Create and maintain automated test scripts to enhance regression testing efficiency.Report on testing outcomes to inform stakeholders about software quality.Key Requirements:3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a banking environment.Experience with Banking/SparkasseProven ability to create comprehensive business cases, beyond typical user stories.Experience with agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.Fluent German (C1+) is mandatory.Nice to Have:Basic understanding of AI use cases in banking.Knowledge of SOC2 / ISO 27001 compliance.Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.Other Details:Contract Type: Freelance / Contracting.Duration: Minimum until 31.12.2026.
