About our Team

Our Team in Samsung R&D Poland deploys and maintains IMS services on Samsung Android smartphones for mobile operators throughout the world. We are looking for Software Developers and Telecommunication Engineers for an internship position.

Role and Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of Android system-level service
• Support of IMS services (VoLTE, VoNR, ViLTE, Wi-Fi Calling, SMSoIP and RCS)
• End to end testing with log analysis
• Analysis and implementation of latest GSMA requirements
• Direct cooperation with European mobile network operators

• Java/Android SDK
• Linux/Android

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to think outside the box and a passion for solving unique challenges in technical environments
• Programming knowledge in Java language
• Willingness to learn
• Spoken and written English at conversational level (B2)
• Team-oriented approach

Nice to have

• Experience with Android SDK
• Hands-on experience with Git/Gerrit/Perforce/Jira
• Interest in new developments in the mobile world, especially regarding IMS and/or VoIP technology
