Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience with any wearable OS and application architecture
• Experience in platform development/maintenance: kernel, system, applications
• Good command of C/C++ (standard libraries)
• Knowledge of toolchains, cross-compilation, profilers, packaging, ADB
• Knowledge of Gradle/Ant/Make Build
• Communicative English
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice to have:

• Good command of Java/TypeScript (standard libraries)
• Prior work and experience in the delivery or maintenance team (ideally the one dealing with a mobile phone system’s maintenance)
• System profiling and optimization techniques
• UML diagrams practical knowledge
• Knowledge of connectivity protocols: BT, WiFi
• Knowledge of hardware architectures: Arm Cortex-A/m4 and other architectures

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and problems’ root cause finding in wearable devices
• Analyzing issues across the technology stack
• Proposing improvements to existing SW
• Participating in wearable OS subprojects maintenance and refactoring
• Co-working with HQ and local experts’ team on an issue analysis and improvements
