Start Date: ASAP About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with deep Basware expertise to drive a multi-year digital transformation of our client's core Procure-to-Pay ecosystem. You will serve as the architectural authority bridge between business domain experts and software development teams, designing scalable, integrated solutions for procurement, accounts payable, and payment workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with finance and procurement stakeholders to unpack business needs and transform them into technical architectural blueprints.

Design end-to-end P2P system architectures centered around the Basware platform.

Define integration patterns, API specs, EDI protocols, and data models to connect P2P tools with existing enterprise systems.

Establish system design standards and provide technical guidance to developers, analysts, and delivery managers throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Resolve complex functional and technical integration bottlenecks as they arise.

Author detailed technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and present solution walkthroughs to key leadership.

Requirements

Proven background as a Solution Architect guiding complex P2P, S2P, or financial process transformations.

In-depth hands-on knowledge of Basware application capabilities and setup.

Practical knowledge of modern integration practices (APIs, EDI interfaces, messaging platforms).

Strong domain understanding of invoice automation, accounts payable processes, and purchasing workflows.

Familiarity with major public cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Exceptional analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.

Fluent business English (C1/C2).

Nice to Have

Experience connecting P2P tools with ERPs such as SAP S/4HANA or Microsoft Dynamics AX (2009/2012).

Relevant Basware certifications.

Track record of working within global enterprise transformation programs in retail or e-commerce.
