We are currently hiring for four specialized areas. Think about which one suits you best:

Mobile Apps: Development of native apps using Swift or Kotlin.

Partner Integrations: A full-stack track using JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js.

Secure & Govern: Focus on backend solutions in Java or Python.

Collaborate: Development in a frontend or backend team using JavaScript, React, or Java.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Real impact, real code: You will be embedded into one of our core software engineering teams, building and shipping scalable features that reach millions of users, supercharged by modern AI development workflows.

A dedicated mentor: You won't be wandering in the dark. You'll be paired with a mentor on the beginning of onboarding process and you will be a part of a team of Software Engineers who will guide your professional growth, review your code, and help you master the Egnyte architecture.

Mastering the AI-assisted workflow: You'll be encouraged to push the boundaries of AI coding assistants (like Augment, Claude Code etc.) to turbocharge your development. You'll help the team find innovative ways to automate routine coding tasks so we can focus on complex software architecture.

Cross-functional collaboration: You'll work closely with other Software Engineers, UX, and Product teams, learning how a global tech company designs, develops, and deploys software at scale.

AI advocacy in action: As an '

Early in Career' trailblazer, you'll have the chance to spearhead software initiatives, share your favourite AI productivity hacks and tool findings with the team, and grow into a future engineering innovator within Egnyte.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

You are a '

Creator': You've built functional software or a personal project (not just a school assignment) that you're proud to show off. You know what it's like to take a codebase from nothing into a working solution.

AI is your Co-pilot: You don't just use AI for basic chat; you actively integrate AI tools into your development setup. You excel at prompt engineering, code generation, and leveraging AI to debug, refactor, and multiply your daily coding output.

You are a '

Fixer': You are a resourceful troubleshooter and a great communicator. If a bug blocks your path or an environment breaks, you find a workaround. You get things done with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.

Language Agnostic: You know the core fundamentals of software engineering and at least one programming language well, and you aren't afraid to let AI help you pick up a new framework or language tomorrow.

High Resourcefulness: What we value most is your personal agency. You are a master of self-unblocking (using documentation, stack searches, and AI tools), possess the grit to soldier through tricky technical hurdles, and have a natural bias for action. You don't just wait for instructions, but you try to figure things out yourself.
