The Vendor Management & Procurement Analyst is a critical operational leadership position within our vendor management function. You'll oversee vendor onboarding processes, manage team members responsible for daily operational execution, and ensure vendor oversight aligns with our Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework and regulatory requirements.You’ll be directly handling complex or sensitive vendor situations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with proven vendor management experience.What you'll do Team & Process Oversight:Oversee the VM Inbox and monitor team member responses for both timeliness and qualityManage team member(s) responsible for executing routine vendor onboarding processesEnsure consistent oversight of vendor processes within the TPRM tool, maintaining process integrityQuality Assurance & Audit:Audit and verify accuracy of vendor processes, confirming correct BIR and spend category assignmentsEnsure vendor processes maintain compliance with organizational standards and proceduresRespond to internal and external audit queries on vendor management topicsSupport RCSA reviews and contribute to improving vendor management controlsDue Diligence & Vendor Management:Manage ongoing due diligence for critical vendors and outsourced arrangementsComplete vendor onboarding for complex, critical, or sensitive requirements (as team cover and for specialist cases)Track vendor progress through onboarding and due diligence processesMonitor and track remediations resulting from vendor due diligence assessmentsSupport management of vendor lifecycle from initiation through continuous oversightReporting & Analytics:Work with VM&P analysts to provide reporting to business stakeholders on:Outsourcing registersVendor management process complianceVendor management KPIs and SLAsPrepare management information for the Vendor Management CommitteeDevelop dashboards and tracking reports for senior stakeholdersAnalyze vendor data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunitiesDocumentation & Procedure:Review and improve vendor onboarding and due diligence procedures in AravoMaintain and update vendor management documentation and process manualsEnsure procedures reflect current regulatory requirements and organizational learningsStakeholder Engagement:Build relationships across the business to understand regulatory, legal, and risk requirements related to TPRMCommunicate with stakeholders regarding vendor status, remediation progress, and compliance mattersProvide clear guidance on vendor processes and requirementsSupport training and knowledge-sharing initiativesContract & Risk:Review contracts and legal agreements for low-risk/value spend itemsSupport contract administration and ensure compliance with termsIdentify emerging vendor risks and escalate appropriatelyWho we're are looking for? Essential Experience:5-8 years proven experience in vendor management and/or procurement in a Financial Services regulated environmentDemonstrated experience in auditing and ensuring compliance with vendor processesFamiliarity with due diligence processes for critical vendors and outsourced arrangementsStrong stakeholder management experience across multiple functionsProficiency with vendor management systems (familiarity with Aravo is advantageous)Expert-level Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and process managementCore Competencies:Strong analytical capability for tracking KPIs, SLAs, and vendor performanceAbility to review and understand contracts and legal agreementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organizational skills managing multiple priorities and deadlinesDetail-oriented approach with focus on accuracy and complianceProblem-solving orientation with ability to troubleshoot issuesRelationship-building capability across diverse teamsDesirable Qualifications:Understanding of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) frameworks and regulatory requirementsFamiliarity with outsourcing registers and compliance registersKnowledge of financial services regulatory requirementsTeam management or supervisory experienceProfessional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA) are a plusBackground in risk management or internal controlsPersonal Attributes:Curious, creative thinker with innovative problem-solving approachConfident and proactive—you identify solutions rather than barriersCollaborative team player who builds strong cross-functional relationshipsDetail-oriented with exceptional accuracy standardsResilient and composed under pressureCommitted to continuous learning and improvementHow we workWe try to take a thoughtful approach to our ways of working as a company.
