Tester with ServiceNow (EU public)

The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime.Our expectationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in testing +ISTQB Advanced certification.Without ISTQB certification, a minimum of 8 years of commercial experience in tests.Bachelor's degree.Expert in testing including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing and regression testing.Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans.Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries.Hands-on experience with testing ServiceNow platform.Expert in designing test environments.Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the 'minimum experience at similar position'.Experience in setting up test management tool for new project.Experience in providing test documentation.Experience in leading testing in complex project.Practical knowledge of testing tools.Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly.Presents excellent communication and documentation skills.Knowledge of processes in Software Development Lifecycle.Proficiency in English (certification is an advantage),Hybrid work 1-2 days per week (Warsaw).Main responsibilitiesResponsible for testing strategy and planning test activities.Develops test plan, test cases and designs testing environment.Implements, executes and debugs application test cases and scripts.Validate and document completion of testing and Development.Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues.Analyses functional and technical system design for testability.Contributes to quality assurance in the project.Documents tests and tracks defects.Monitors test results, Analyses quality of the system and reports on status and trends.Cooperates with analysis, architects Software Development and service desk teams.
