For more information please visit CFO&EVTHE WORK:Although no two days at Accenture are the same, as Tax expert in our Tax Strategy & Consulting practice, a typical day might include:Re-shaping our clients’ Tax Function to address emerging trends in tax compliance and reporting regulations, boost effectiveness and efficiency while adapting to challenging and rapidly changing market conditionsActing as an expert while working with Accenture’s global teams to shape and help clients develop cutting edge and industry leading solutionsProviding services to our clients from global corporate entities including Energy, Consumer Goods, High Tech, Retail, Life Sciences, and other industries on a wide range of topics covering Indirect Tax, Direct Tax, and Transfer PricingQualificationsHERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Minimum Bachelor’s degreeMin. 3 years of experience, preferably in a consulting companyExperience in (global) process design and improvement with Excise Duty as a key business driverKnowledge of multi-country Excise Duty regulations, calculation, accounting, and reportingExperience in (global) process design and improvement with Excise Duty as a key business driverAbility to embed Excise requirements into Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Compliance processesExperience building Excise Duty capabilities across cross-functional teams (Finance & IT)Optional: Hands-on business implementation of enabling systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or similar market solutions for EDIndustry experience for Excise Duty (Tobacco, Alcohol, Oil&Gas etc.)Great communication and presentation skillsExcellent English communication skills (written & spoken) requiredBONUS POINTS IF YOU ARE AND HAVE:Platforms related experience SAP/OracleOther foreign EU language e.g. German, French, ItalianResearch indicates that some candidates, especially the most diverse ones, may hesitate to apply for positions if they don't meet all requirements. We deliver our work in hybrid model, remotely, in our offices but also traveling and working closely with our Clients in their offices. That is why traveling declaration, willingness and ability to work at client locations mostly across Europe and beyond, for short or long term, is required.  The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office—depending on specific project circumstances.
