STP Accountant with Portuguese

Responsibilities: Perform Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, payments, tax-related tasks, and GR/IR reconciliationCollaborate closely with procurement, finance, and business stakeholdersProvide timely and professional support to internal and external customers’ inquiriesEnsure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and internal policiesDeliver transactional activities in line with agreed SLA/KPI targetsEnsure compliance with internal controls, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelinesSupport audit processes and maintain accurate documentationIdentify process improvement opportunities and contribute to optimization initiativesBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring high levels of service qualityParticipate in knowledge transfer and process transition activitiesPerform other duties as assignedDesired skills/experience: Portuguese language skills at B2 level or higher Good command of English (minimum B1), both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levelsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field, or completion of relevant professional courses1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an SSC/GBS/BPO environmentPractical experience working with SAP systemsIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of Spanish will be considered an asset* What we offer: Hybrid work (office in the centre of Łódź)Working from Monday to Friday (second shift - 14-22)A wide range of development programs (e.g. leadership workshops, mentoring programs)Sports cardPrivate medical careLife insurance packageAdditional compensation components: language allowance, performance bonusHealth and wellness programsPaid leave for volunteering activities
