Space Systems Engineer

Specific areas of expertiseThis recruitment is for a few vacancies that require expertise in the following areasKnowledge and practical experience in EMC and RF fieldsKnowledge and practical experience with Power subsystemsKnowledge and practical experience with software and encryption for embedded solutionsResponsibilities:Leading systems engineering efforts in satellite projects throughout the entire system lifecyclePerforming mission and system level trade-off analysesPreparing and oversight of technical documentationTechnical management of subcontractors and partners within project consortiumsBasic qualifications:Solid understanding of space systems (at least 3 years of experience in space industry in relevant projects);Fundamental technical understanding in the following domains: electronics, mechanics, thermal control, software (including FPGA), orbital mechanics;Well established understanding of systems engineering processes;Hands-on experience in requirements definition and management using Doors-like requirements management toolExperience in creating technical documentation according to ECSS;Troubleshooting and problem solving skills;Ability to work effectively under pressure;Very good English in speaking and writing.Preferred qualifications:Experience in working on systems with flight heritage (TRL 9);Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE);Practical experience with MBSE;Experience in working with European Space Agency, European Commission and European Defense Agency.;We offerWork in a friendly, well-coordinated team of enthusiastsStable employment in a modern company with an established market positionAttractive salary and benefits package (e.g., private medical care, sports card)Opportunities for professional development and participation in innovative projects
