Software Engineer with French

We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer (m/f/n) to support our client, one of the UE organizations, in the development, maintenance, and evolution of software solutions and automation tools used to support large network and security infrastructures.This role focuses on backend development, scripting, and automation, working closely with infrastructure, security, and architecture teams. The team consists of approximately 80 professionals, working on long-term infrastructure and software services for a complex public-sector environment.Responsibilities:Analyse customer requirementsDevelop and maintain existing software by analysing and identifying areas for modificationPropose and present ideas for system improvementsParticipate in software architecture design, together with the architecture teamCreate technical specifications, write program code, and produce documentationTest software in controlled environments before production deploymentPrepare training documentation for usersMaintain systems once they are liveContinuous integration, documentation, and deployment through a dynamic pipeline: Git for version control, Jenkins for orchestration, SonarQube for code quality control, Unit-test/Selenium/nightwatch to check, and Ansible for deployment and rollbackRequirements:Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software developmentStrong experience with: Perl, Python, Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, Oracle, JavaScript (jQuery), SQL databasesAbility to understand complex technical environments and provide recommendationsStrong customer and quality focusEU citizenship is mandatoryFluency in English and French (written and spoken)Nice to have:Experience with web front-end tools (JavaScript skills, preferably with React experience)Knowledge of microservice architecture (Node.js, ServiceFabric, or similar)Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar)DevOps experience (CI, build automation, continuous deployment)Code quality practices (TDD, unit testing, coding for testability).Knowledge of network and security technologiesExperience with Juniper SD WANWhat We Offer:B2B contract signed directly with the client.Remote work setupRate: 500-520 EUR/day.Full-time engagement.The opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects
