Software Engineer – Assay Data Processing

Project OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a team focused on assay and laboratory data processing. The project involves integrating, analyzing, and processing large experimental and laboratory datasets in a cloud environment.The team works closely with laboratory and data science stakeholders, with a strong focus on data quality, metadata management, and scalable system architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop ETL data pipelines in Python for laboratory and experimental data.Integrate with MedCon, Riffyn, or similar LIMS/ELN platforms.Build and maintain AWS cloud environments.Implement DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, security, and automation.Collaborate with lab and data science teams to ensure data consistency and quality.Participate in solution architecture design and technical documentation.RequirementsStrong programming experience in Python (APIs, ETL, testing).Knowledge of MedCon, Riffyn, or other LIMS/ELN systems.Practical experience with AWS cloud services.Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (CI/CD, IaC, containers).Experience in solution architecture design.Understanding of laboratory data processing workflows and metadata management.Nice to HaveExperience in the life sciences or biotech industry.Familiarity with data analysis tools such as pandas or numpy.Relevant AWS or DevOps certifications.Project Environment100% remote workInternational, collaborative teamLong-term engagementHigh focus on quality, scalable cloud-based laboratory data solutions
