We are an owner-managed, independent company headquartered in Switzerland with engineering and production facilities in Germany and regional offices world-wide. We are looking for you to join our team in Białystok, Poland or Zürich, Switzerland immediately or upon availability in a 50-100% capacity.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign of software architecture, develop a scalable, high-performance, and resilient software architecture for the integration, synchronization, and processing of data, both in real-time and post-acquisition from many sensorsDefine the interfaces and communication protocols between software system elementsDesign data structures and database schemas for efficient storage and access to large volumes of dataLead development teams, ensure adherence to the adopted architecture and standards, maintain high quality and performance of the software, compliance with and the management of software work packagesCreation and updating documentation on architecture and software design, including software safety plans, requirements, and test specificationsCross-functional teamwork to ensure seamless hardware-software integration for mission critical platformsYour ProfileMinimum of 5 years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years in a Software Architect role, preferably in real-time data processing systems or embedded/IoT systemsDocumented experience or strong theoretical knowledge in the acquisition and processing systems for sensorsFluent in at least one programming language used in high-performance systemsExperience designing systems to handle large volumes of data, including database optimization and streaming architectureAnalytical and logical thinking, strong problem-solving abilities and collaborative mindsetFluency in English both written and spokenNice to haveFamiliarity with Linux/RTOS environments and experience with deployments on vehicle or mobile platforms.Experience with sensory data fusion algorithms and calibration methodsFamiliarity with signal processing and data analysisKnowledge of industry regulations/standards (e.g. ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO-178C)Knowledge of secure software design, authentication, encryption, and cyber security principlesWe offer youthe opportunity to play an active and significant role in shaping the future of our global company,personal development,attractive remuneration,flat organizational structure and pleasant working atmosphere,flexible working hours,work in an interesting team,international cooperation,interesting research and development projects,the possibility of obtaining training subsidies,good working conditions (equipment, facilities).Your LocationRegional OfficeGlobal Clearance Solutions Poland sp. z o.o.Dąbrowskiego Street 20/415-872 BiałystokPolandgcs.chorRegional OfficeSymlab AGTechnoparkstrasse 18005 ZürichSwitzerland
