Senior Test Engineer (Java)

Location: 100% remote work Salary: 130 – 140 PLN net/h (B2B via Experis)Responsibilities: • Build business and technical knowledge to contribute to projects handled by the squad and feed into Test Strategies• Collaborate with the Agile team to deliver migration of a legacy application to a new event‑based and service‑oriented architecture, working with key stakeholders• Deliver a coherent end‑to‑end testing solution that meets functional and non‑functional requirements• Establish estimation principles for phases of the migration program• Write the Test Strategy and propose the most optimal Test Approach, presenting it to stakeholders and suggesting alternatives when needed• Peer review test scenarios and test cases and execute them• Perform excellent defect management, challenge other teams and conduct required analysisRequirements:• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to extract information from documentation, system data, clients and colleagues• Ability to derive manual and automated test scenarios and cases with full traceability and clear documentation• Automation experience using Java, UFT and ADS• Experience reviewing team deliverables for completeness, suitability and accuracy• Ability to identify and escalate risks and issues and propose mitigation actions• Ability to facilitate discussions to extract information and devise test approaches and mitigations• Experience in analytical and system design and development for distributed multi‑platform solutions• Hands‑on Object‑Oriented Design and Java programming skills• Experience implementing Event Hub technologies, especially Kafka and Kafka Streams• Database design experience in Oracle and strong Java/SQL query implementation skills• Extensive experience working in an Agile environment with knowledge of BDD and TDD• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (ADS)• Understanding and experience with risk‑based testing• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing• Understanding of T‑Shaping and willingness to grow into a T‑Shaped role• Ability to obtain security clearance, including criminal checkOur offer:• MultiSport Plus• Group insurance• Medicover Premium• e-learning platform
