Your responsibilities

• Responsible for managing multiple clients into IBM z/OS.
• Key tasks include configuring and maintaining storage related applications, catalogs, virtual tape systems, physical tape systems and DASD boxes.
• Ensure high availability, performance for storage space management.
• Administer DFSMShsm, CA1, CA DISK, CA VANATAGE, Control-MManage ICF catalogs and DFSMShsm\CA1 backup/migration policies.
• Oversee virtual tape libraries and tape management systems.
• Perform disk allocation, replication (PPRC/XRC), and capacity planning.
• Perform Disaster Recovery test.

Our requirements

• Strong experience with z/OS storage management tools (DFSMShsm, DFSMSrmm).
• Knowledge of enterprise disk/tape subsystems (VTS, DS8K, VSP5600).
• Proficiency in JCL and REXX scripting.
