Senior Solution Architect (Azure)

We are executing a flagship digital modernization program to revolutionize the guest experience for a major enterprise client. The goal is to deliver a unified, personalized journey across web and mobile platforms, integrating a modern Conversational Concierge and a Unified Booking Experience.As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be the bridge between the high-level business vision and the technical reality on Microsoft Azure. You will own the architectural roadmap from discovery through to Key Design Decisions (KDDs) and Operational Design Concepts (ODCs), ensuring that security, scalability, and identity management are world-class from day one.OferujemyRate: Up to 180 PLN/h net + VAT (B2B).Duration: 3–6 months (initial engagement) with high potential for extension.Model: Full-time.Location: Remote (Poland-based) with occasional travel to the client site.Language: English C1+ is mandatory (Polish is a nice-to-have).ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Governance: Act as the 'Source of Truth' for engineering teams. You will write and own corporate-level documentation, including SDDs (Solution Design Documentation), ODCs, and KDDs.End-to-End Ownership: Own the entire solution design, ensuring seamless guest flows across web, mobile, and 3rd party integrations (Mulesoft, Salesforce, Contentful).Identity & Security: Architect a centralized strategy using Microsoft Entra (External ID / B2C) to enable a 'Single View of the Guest' across all digital touchpoints.Azure Strategy: Design solutions aligned with the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Landing Zone patterns.Stakeholder Management: Lead workshops with business leaders and defend architectural choices in Technical Design Authority (TDA) forums.Observability: Address non-functional requirements (NFRs) to ensure the journey can be traced across distributed services (CMS, CRM, Booking Engine).RequirementsExperience: Proven track record as a Senior/Lead Architect for enterprise-grade B2C digital platforms (Web & Mobile).Azure Mastery: Deep hands-on background with Azure PaaS, Networking, API Management, and Integration services.Identity Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra / IDaaS in a B2C context (unifying identities across Web vs. Mobile).Governance Rigor: Ability to produce structured, defensible technical specs that pass formal enterprise reviews.DevOps Fluency: Solid understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and operational readiness.Nice to have:Experience with Modern Stacks: Node.js, Fastify, oRPC, React Native, or Next.js.AI/LLM: Experience integrating Chatbots or LLM-based concierge services.Data: Experience with architectures feeding into Data Lakes/Analytics platforms.
