We are creating a chatbot platform that will connect businesses to all Android and iOS devices, and our mission is to upgrade this conversational experience for all these users.

In this role, you will deliver impact and achieve career growth by contributing to key cross-group projects.

The Platforms and Ecosystems product area encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications). The products provide enterprises, and ultimately end users, the ability to utilize and manage their services at scale. We build innovative and compelling software products—from apps to TVs, from laptops to phones—that have an impact on people’s lives across the world.

Responsibilities

• Create external developer-facing APIs and underlying infrastructure.
• Identify, deliver, and land user journeys.
• Measure and monitor the impact of various features across the Business Communication ecosystem.
• Create user experience by fixing bugs/issues raised by external developers.
• Work with Product Manager (PM), User Experience (UX), Developer Relation (DevRel), Business Development (BD), Support, and Engineering teams to deliver product/system metrics to help understand various products.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management for software development.
• 2 years of experience with software development in Java.
• Experience in back-end coding.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in application programming interface (API) development and design.
• Experience in full-stack technical development.
• Experience in problem solving and technical innovation.
• Experience with system design.
• Ability to manage cross-functional software projects.
