Senior Software Engineer (AWS & Data)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – AWS & Data to join a remote development on cloud-native development and data-driven applications.Project information:Type of project: IT servicesOffice location: PolandWork mode: RemoteBudget: 130 –150 PLN net /h - b2bProject length: Long-termOnly candidates with citizenship in the European Union and residence in PolandStart date: ASAP (depending on candidate’s availability)Project scope:Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services (including AWS Glue and ECS)Build and optimize data processing solutions using AWS Glue and PySparkDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPIDesign and implement user interfaces using React, ensuring seamless frontend-backend integrationWork with containerized environments (ECS/Kubernetes) for application deployment and managementCollaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutionsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to best development practicesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and securityContinuously improve development processes by staying up to date with new technologiesCompetence demands:Proven experience in AWS cloud-native development, preferably within data-related projectsStrong hands-on experience with AWS Glue and PySparkExperience with ECS and/or Kubernetes (development and basic administration)Solid frontend development experience with ReactStrong experience in building REST APIs using FastAPIFamiliarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Terraform)Experience with Terraform in infrastructure automationKnowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and optimizationExposure to scalable data architecture patternsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environmentWe offer:Remote working modelFull-time job agreement based on b2bPrivate medical care with dental care (covering 70% of costs) Multisport card (also for an accompanying person)Life insurance
