Senior QA Engineer (Playwright)

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior QA Engineer with Playwright for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is the developer of an intelligent SaaS platform that delivers a more sustainable workforce across the firm, from HR and communications to IT and leadership.The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of the software products through a range of testing methods, including automated testing.Project duration: up to a 6-month assignment with the possibility of prolongation.Requirements3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software engineering.3+ years of recent, hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation framework(s) using Playwright.Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.Knowledge of programming languages such as TypeScript and JavaScript.Awareness and usage of AI tools for testing is a must.Experience in manual testing and test automation.Familiarity with agile development methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.The ability to work well in a team.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study, or commensurate experience required.Upper-intermediate level of English.Nice to haveExperience with Selenium, Appium or other automated tools.Experience with other languages (e.g., Ruby).ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with development teams to ensure software products are designed and executed with quality in mind.Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software defects.Develop and maintain automated test scripts.Perform automated testing of software products to identify issues.Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development cycle.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure defects are resolved on time.Contribute to the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure the products meet customer requirements.Continuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
