Senior Electrical Engineer

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience., Professional Engineering License (Electrical)., Prior experience working in a Nuclear, Quality and Safety Environment., Experience in nuclear plant design (power plant or DOE facility)., Experience in working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ASME-NQA-1, MIL-Q-9858A, or ISO-9000., Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards., Hands-on Microsoft office programs and other computer programs., Extensive knowledge application of NEC code and ANSI/IEEE Standards., Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and electrical equipment layouts., Strong understanding of engineering drawings, systems calculations, equipment sizing and cable sizing., Previous hands-on or extensive working knowledge with ETAP and other industry-wide electrical system design tools, such as CAD 2D, cable designing and routing software., Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills., Familiar with all Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs) and their application to projects., Experience in construction interface and resolving field problems., Familiar with Bechtel standard programs., Knowledge of design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPS)., Experience with AP1000 Nuclear Power Plant Design.
