The platform is built on Snowflake and is currently used in the United Kingdom with planned expansion across multiple European markets. The focus is on strengthening stakeholder alignment, improving data governance processes, and establishing clear product ownership to enable scalability.Position overviewWe are looking for a Senior Data Product Lead to establish product ownership and drive the evolution of two existing data products. The person in this role works closely with transformation leadership to strengthen stakeholder alignment, define business value use cases, and guide the platform’s expansion across European markets. This position involves navigating complex stakeholder environments, influencing decision making, and validating technical approaches when needed.ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute a product vision and roadmap for customer and project data productsPlan and drive adoption across operating companies through training and feedback cyclesBuild relationships with local leadership to overcome resistance to data sharing and API accessIdentify and prioritize business use cases across finance, supply chain, quality, sales, and operationsEstablish clear data governance processes and ownership modelsCollaborate with IT contributors on integration activities and performance improvementsSupport GDPR compliance efforts and data quality initiatives with legal and source system ownersReview SQL and Python logic to validate proposed technical approachesCoordinate the European rollout beginning with Finland and define a federated ownership structureTrack product value using metrics, business impact analysis, and executive reportingRequirementsProfessional experience with three to five years in data product management or data program leadershipExperience working with data products or analytics platforms in enterprise environmentsStrong stakeholder management in complex matrixed organizationsExperience driving adoption of data tools in environments with resistance or cultural barriersUnderstanding of Snowflake or cloud data platforms including warehousing and data modeling conceptsAbility to review SQL queries and Python scripts to understand data logicFamiliarity with BI tools including Tableau, Power BI, and LookerKnowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality approaches, and GDPR requirements for UK and EU marketsNice to haveExperience with multi country or multi site data programsExperience working within federated operating modelsFamiliarity with cross border compliance and data residency considerationsExperience working as an embedded consultant in client environments or consultancies
