Team members gain long-term growth opportunities at the intersection of technology and finance.The project includes development, optimization, and speeding up applications and databases.TeamThe project team is a dynamic collaboration between DataArt and our client, comprising around 40 professionals. On the DataArt side, our team includes 30 members with a mix of skilled Business Analysts (BAs), Developers (DEVs), and Quality Assurance specialists (QAs), who bring expertise in agile processes and innovative solutions to the project. On the client side, the team consists of approximately 20 professionals, including Product Owners (POs), Technical Leads, and Developers, who work closely with us to ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards.Position overviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to support ongoing enhancements to our data and analytics platforms, which includes work with a large data volumes, thus ideal candidate would have deep knowledge of SQL and querying and analyzing data in relational databases . The BA will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and document requirements, manage Jira backlogs, and support agile delivery processes.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements for ongoing application enhancementsCreate clear, structured requirements documentation and user storiesQuerying and analyzing data in relational databases (MS SQL)Work with product and engineering teams to review upcoming and backlog Jira tickets Create and manage Jira tickets for new tasks and enhancementsSupport sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning activitiesEnsure alignment across business and technical teams throughout the development lifecycleRequirements4+ years of experience as a business analystUnderstanding of business processesFinancial services industry experienceExtensive experience in querying and analyzing data in relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, etc.)Ability to translate business needs into software and operational requirements, document and analyze requirements, and propose possible solutionsThorough understanding of the Software Development Life CycleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in facilitating effective interaction between the project team and the customerParticipation in planning, dispute resolution, and risk evaluationVerifying implemented products as per requirementsHighly motivated, self-driven, and able to work well independently and in a teamNice to haveAsset Management experience
