Your role

As a Sales Development Specialist, you are the first point of contact for potential clients and a key part of our growth strategy in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

You identify and qualify new business opportunities, engage with prospects in the DACH region, and explain the risks related to IP infringements in a clear and structured way. You work closely with our sales and service teams to ensure a smooth handover and a consistent client experience.

Your responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
  • Understand clients’ products, markets, and potential IP risks
  • Detect potential infringements and communicate associated risks
  • Proactively reach out to prospects via email and phone
  • Conduct conversations in fluent German and professional English
  • Act as the initial point of contact and manage early stage discussions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and follow up

Your profile

  • Fluent German (native or near-native) and strong English skills
  • Experience in sales, business development, or a comparable role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Structured, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
  • Experience with CRM tools and standard sales processes
  • Interest in intellectual property, digital risk, or online enforcement is a plus
  • Good understanding of the DACH business environment is preferred
