Summary: The Senior IT Project Manager will lead the Alfresco Workstream within the Records and Information Management Programme, focusing on enhancing the management and governance of enterprise information assets through large-scale data migration and system integration.Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Workstream within the RIM Programme, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering data migration, application integration, testing, and deployment activities.Coordinate cross-functional teams including data migration specialists, solution architects, business analysts, and third-party vendors.Oversee all aspects of data migration, including mapping, validation, quality assurance, and sign-off.Manage complex stakeholder relationships across IT, business, and compliance teams to ensure alignment.Provide clear and structured reporting to programme governance forums and senior management.Anticipate and manage risks related to data quality and change control.Facilitate collaboration and communication across distributed teams.Ensure all project activities align with information governance, security, and compliance standards.Key Requirements:8+ years’ experience in IT project management.Strong background in data migration and content management system implementations.Proven experience delivering large-scale IT or business transformation projects.Strong understanding of data migration methodologies.Experience with Alfresco, SharePoint, or similar platforms.Excellent stakeholder and team management skills.Strong communication and presentation skills.Track record of managing technical delivery teams.Familiarity with structured project management methodologies.Nice to Have:Experience in regulated or large-scale public sector environments.Understanding of information governance and records retention frameworks.Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile project management.Experience with enterprise-wide data management programmes.
