Aufgaben

Ready to take full ownership of high-performance Data Center operations? As Operations Manager (m/f/x) at our Mörfelden-Walldorf site, you will orchestrate deployment, storage, and shipping activities with precision and drive, ensuring seamless workflows, operational excellence, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You lead from the front, empower your team, and turn complex processes into measurable results. Are you on it?

Your Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development: You assume both the professional and disciplinary leadership of your team members, support their development, and create a high-performing, trust-based work environment.
• Operational Management of Data Center Operations: You are responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our daily deployment, storage, and shipping processes and for reliably achieving productivity, quality, and safety targets.
• Resource & Capacity Planning: You proactively plan incoming and outgoing volumes, deploy personnel and equipment efficiently, and continuously optimize space and capacity utilization.
• Process Management & Continuous Improvement: By analyzing KPIs, conducting root-cause analyses, and deriving actionable measures, you drive optimizations and foster a lean and continuous improvement mindset within the team.
• Stakeholder Management & Reporting: You maintain close communication with customers, internal interfaces, and management, develop and maintain meaningful dashboards, and ensure compliance with SLAs, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Your Profile

• Professional Experience in Logistics/Data Center Operations: You bring solid experience in managing logistics or data center-related processes, including deployment, warehousing, and shipping operations.
• Leadership Skills: You have proven experience in leading teams, demonstrate strong communication skills, make confident decisions, and actively support employee development.
• Systems & Process Knowledge: You possess sound knowledge of WMS systems, SAP, and standard logistics processes within a contract logistics environment.
• Language Skills: Very good German and very good English skills are mandatory.
• Personal Competencies: You work in a structured, customer-oriented, and responsible manner. You enjoy optimizing processes, driving change, and setting clear priorities in a dynamic environment.
