Summary: The role of a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer is to design and develop a scalable, cloud-native data platform on Microsoft Azure, integrating data from various enterprise systems to build a unified data ecosystem that enhances analytics and insights.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end data integration, designing automated pipelines for 10+ enterprise systems.Develop efficient data models for analytics and AI-driven insights.Implement data governance frameworks and optimize pipeline performance.Provide clean and enriched datasets for BI and AI/ML consumption.Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.Key Requirements:7+ years of experience in data engineering.Expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure data technologies.Strong skills in data modeling and multi-source data integration.Proficiency in Python and SQL.Experience with event-driven architecture and real-time data processing.Nice to Have:Familiarity with SAP BW and SAP HANA data structures.Experience with CI/CD and version control in GitHub.Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
