Merchant KYC AnalystStart: ASAPPeriod: 3 months initial contract (with possible extension)Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)About the roleAs a Merchant KYC Analyst, you support effective and risk-based merchant onboarding and ongoing due diligence processes. You assess risk for new corporate clients, manage ongoing CDD for existing merchants, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to independently evaluate complex corporate structures.You take ownership of your cases, document clear risk assessments, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across commercial, legal, compliance, and technical teams.Key responsibilitiesConduct CDD for new corporate merchants and manage ongoing due diligenceReview and verify CDD documentation using internal and external data sourcesAnalyse business models, ownership structures, and flow of fundsPerform sanctions, PEP screening, enhanced due diligence, and adverse media checksMaintain accurate customer profiles and escalate identified risks when requiredCommunicate with internal teams and, when necessary, directly with merchantsYour background3+ years of experience in corporate or institutional KYC / CDDExperience in regulated environments such as banking, payments, or financial servicesStrong understanding of EU regulatory requirementsAnalytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable making risk-based decisionsIndependent, structured, and accountableFluent in English (written and spoken)SQL knowledge is an advantage
