MEP Senior Cost Consultant/Quantity Surveyor

You'll be responsible for:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Consultant/Quantity Surveyor to act as the lead and provide cost management services for ongoing commissions and projects. You will provide end-to-end cost management services from pre-construction through to handover and final account closure, ensuring the project is delivered within budget and in accordance with professional standards. Knowledge of MEP services and experience in mission critical sectors is crucial to this role. Managing the commercial function, safeguarding the employer's interests and driving cost certainty across all project phases.Developing robust cost plans, estimates and benchmarks, supporting value engineering and informed commercial decision-making.Managing procurement
and tendering activities, ensuring competitive pricing, clear scope alignment and optimal contracting strategies.Overseeing post-contract cost control, including change management, valuations, payment reviews and contingency tracking.Producing accurate financial reports, forecasts and executive summaries that support project governance.Administering construction contracts, ensuring full compliance with obligations, terms and quality standards.Managing the preparation and settlement of final accounts, maintaining complete as-built cost records.Applying technical knowledge of CSA, MEP and mission-critical systems to develop effective cost strategies.Identifying and manage commercial risks, implementing consistent controls and change processes.Building strong stakeholder relationships and provide clear commercial leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

You'll need to have:

Degree in quantity surveying or related field, with strong cost management expertise across complex, mission-critical aaaaaaaaaaa
in understanding of German regulations, procurement practices and construction contract frameworks.Fluent in German and English, with strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.Proficient in cost planning, estimating, contract administration and major MEP/CSA technical pricing.
