This hands-on role combines people leadership with technical ownership, where you will mentor engineers and guide architectural decisions from design through to production deployment.Why Join Us? The salary range for this position is 277,875 – 407,550 PLN gross/year.About the Manager, Software Engineering RoleLead, mentor, and develop an engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementOwn team execution and delivery, ensuring commitments are met with high quality and predictable outcomesWork closely with Product Managers to refine requirements, estimate work, and plan sprint and release goalsManage software development across the SDLC, from design and implementation through deployment and production supportServe as a technical leader for the team, guiding design decisions, reviewing code, and promoting engineering best practicesActively collaborate with other engineering teams and managers to ensure alignment, dependency management, and smooth delivery of shared initiativesIdentify risks and impediments early and proactively drive resolutionSupport hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement for team membersWhen needed, contribute hands-on through coding, code reviews, documentation, and technical problem-solving About you as the Manager, Software EngineeringAt least 5 years of professional software development experience2+ years of people management experience, including coaching, performance feedback, and career developmentExperience working in an agile development environment, leveraging frameworks such as Scrum or KanbanStrong experience building and supporting enterprise-scale software systemsSolid understanding of software design principles and ability to guide a team through technical trade-offs and solutionsExperience designing and working with microservice-based architecturesHands-on experience with containerized environments and orchestration platforms such as KubernetesStrong knowledge of modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or GCP)Experience working with relational and NoSQL data stores (e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB, or similar)Good understanding of software development best practices, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with messaging or streaming platforms such as KafkaStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and teamsPreferred ExperienceFamiliarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue.js)Exposure to serverless architectures and cloud-native patternsExperience with Infrastructure as Code technologiesPrevious experience in Ad Tech is a plus, but not requiredAbout Digital Turbine:Digital Turbine (NASDAQ: APPS) powers superior mobile consumer experiences and results for the world’s leading telcos, advertisers and publishers.
