Manager Product Merchandising Europe (m/f/d) 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Co-own the development of a mid- to long-term assortment strategy for Europe in close collaboration with the Sr. Merchandising Manager and other members of the Product Merchandising team
  • Partner with Product Line Management to develop an efficient and profitable collection tailored to the European target consumer
  • Drive market and competitive analysis to identify consumer and product trends and translate insights into line planning opportunities for Birkenstock Europe
  • Own assortment planning and segmentation with a strong focus on consumer-right price architecture aligned with European strategy and financial targets
  • Influence seasonal pricing, volume, and margin plans in close partnership with Planning, Finance, and Business Development
  • Play a key role in the Go-to-Market process, presenting assortments to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to define seasonal brand concepts that enhance the consumer experience across channels
  • Engage and inform European sales teams throughout all relevant stages and present seasonal collections to senior management and sales teams

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Merchandising with broad-based knowledge in Footwear (Shoes)
  • Fully proficient skills in assortment planning, retail acumen, marketplace knowledge, consumer knowledge and line planning
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to analyze data and build a narrative around trends and patterns in the data
  • Strong team player and ability to work with cross functional partners
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent verbal and written English skills
