Introduction

We are currently looking for two dedicated laboratory technicians for our RF department in our testing laboratory .

Responsibilities

Become part of an expert team that primarily deals with testing and test reports . In this role, you will be working with the latest devices on the market to achiev market approvalse for our customer products.

• Contribution to the establishment and organization of laboratory operations, as well as independent execution of radio tests
• Technical support for customers, colleagues and partner laboratories
• Process optimization and development of services and tests
• Set up of appropriate testing procedures and measurement systems
• Preparation of quotations, preliminary cost calculations and verification of technical feasibility
• Coordination of projects and resources
• Qualification of products and components for the automotive, industrial and consumer product sectors
• Development of specialized testing procedures
• Documentation of results and presentations to customers

Profile

We are seeking motivated talents who already have experience in working with measuring instruments, laboratory equipment standards, and radio technologies. Enthusiasm for technology, a willingness to experiment, customer focus and a willingness to learn are more important to us than technical knowledge.

• Completed university degree (Electrical Engineering or similar) or comparable professional experience
• Good knowledge and experience with radio testing in the automotive, industrial and consumer product sectors, including common regulations and standards
• Experience and calculation of various units such as dBµV, dBm, dBW
• Knowledge of common radio technologies such as WLAN, RFID, ZigBee
• Basic knowledge of network technology
• Experience in project management
• Independent, customer-oriented approach
• Continuous willingness to learn, high level of commitment, ability to work in a team
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written)
• Proficient use of measuring instruments such as spectrum analyzers, RF mixers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes
• Experience with software solutions like Rohde & Schwarz EMC32 would be desirable
