We are now looking for the right person to join us as Key Account Manager – Germany West.This is a home‑office position, and you must be located in the western part of Germany within ZIP codes starting with 34–36, 54–56 and 6.

WHO IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?

You will become part of a highly skilled Middle Europe Sales organization of around 100 colleagues. Together with 9 other team members, you will report directly to Territory Sales Manager Germany South, Sabina Eibel.The team covers Southern Germany and collaborates closely with colleagues from End Customer Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Training, and Distribution.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A KAM

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales within a selected portfolio of strategic and developing accounts. You will develop and execute business plans, set annual targets, monitor KPIs, and act as the primary point of contact between your accounts and Axis.

Inspire our partners

  • Actively participate in trade shows, webinars and other promotional activities
  • Collaborate closely with the sales organization (Key Account Managers, Account Managers, Inside Sales Account Managers, Sales Engineers and Key Account Managers End Customer) and other roles within your territory to support, inspire and educate Axis partner ecosystem (Distributors, System Integrators & Resellers)
  • Provide the best solutions and ensure strong alignment across the partner network

Thrive business

  • Develop clear business plans for your assigned accounts
  • Define annual targets and continuously track performance against KPIs
  • Prepare sales reports and maintain visibility on ongoing and upcoming projects

Create value

  • Visit partners to maintain and grow long‑term relationships
  • Work with partners to strengthen the Axis presence in your territory
  • Visit end customers together with partners to create new opportunities
  • Collaborate on marketing initiatives to attract new business
  • Work closely with system integrators to build and convert your project pipeline

Travel within the region and to Axis HQ in Sweden is a natural part of this role.

Your profile

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for someone proactive, enthusiastic, and motivated by success. You should have strong commercial awareness, a genuine interest in technology, and experience in field sales. You’re structured, resourceful, and able to manage your own priorities.

To fit in at Axis, you should be a true team player who enjoys achieving results through collaboration. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment and are open-minded, curious, and skilled at building strong internal and external relationships.

We’d love to hear that you have:

  • A proven track record in sales, preferably within IT or security
  • A strong technical interest
  • Experience in solution selling (ideally in the security industry)
  • Experience in account management and account development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience for this senior role

Experience with an indirect sales model in a similar security-related role is a plus.
However, the most important factors are your personality, drive, and mindset.
