Junior Quality Engineers (Customer or Production Focus) (f/m/d)

Your tasks

Our Quality Engineering teams are at the core of ensuring product excellence and customer satisfaction, working in focus areas:

Customer-Focused Quality Assurance - acting as the primary liaison for customer requirements, documentation, audits, and issue resolution.
Production Quality Assurance - monitoring and improving internal processes, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

Depending on your strengths, your role may emphasize direct customer interaction or internal quality assurance activities.

Your Responsibilities

Customer-Focused Tasks

• Implement and monitor customer-defined quality requirements in production
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation (Certificates of Conformance, inspection and reliability specifications) and coordinate customer approvals
• Organize and support customer audits and visits; ensure smooth communication and execution
• Review and align internal processes with customer specifications; manage claims and 8D processes

Production-Focused Tasks

• Monitor compliance with internal quality standards and initiate corrective actions to prevent nonconformities
• Support qualification of new materials, equipment, and processes; promote continuous improvement and advanced problem-solving methods
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, NPI, QE, Laboratory) to standardize quality requirements across all product life stages

Your Profile

• HTL graduate, University degree in e.g. Engineering or equivalent proven experience
• Strong communication skills in English for the Customer focused role and German language skills for the Production focused role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; organized and eager to learn
• Experience in customer or supplier communication and substrate industry is an advantage
