Java Trainee

This is a 9-week, paid professional program designed to transition high-performing students into full-time Java developers at EPAM. This experience will enhance your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills. As part of the team, you’ll engage in various development activities, including:Collaborating in a Scrum team environmentBuilding and designing a Java-based Web application for an AI-powered solution from scratchParticipating in the code review process and following Java best practicesEngaging in learning activities to expand and deepen your expertise in Java development and AI integrationWhat is required for training:We’re looking for final-year students or recent graduates from Krakow and nearby locations withEnglish proficiency – At least B2 level to communicate effectively in a professional setting.Java Core & OOP – Strong knowledge and hands-on coding experienceBuild Tools – Understanding of MavenVersion Control – Experience with GitClean Code – Adherence to clean code principlesUnit Testing – Experience with unit testingSoftware Architecture/Design Patterns – Basic understandingRelational Databases & SQL – Ability to write and adapt queriesJava Back-end Development – Practical experience building applicationsSpring Core, Boot, AOP, MVC, JPA/Hibernate – Experience with these frameworks and technologiesNetworking & HTTP/REST – Understanding of networking basics, HTTP protocol, and REST principlesBonus points if you also have:Java Persistence API – FamiliarityBack-end Frameworks – Experience building full-fledged applicationsFront-end Technologies – Understanding of React/Angular, TypeScript is a plusCloud Technologies – Insight into cloud-related technologies is a plusHow to get started?Apply by May 11 – Fill in all required fields and attach your CV.
