For our location in Hanover we are looking for you with immediate effect as an
Intern/Working Student (m/f/d) in Generative AI
to join our engineering team and work on cutting-edge applications of Generative AI for optimizing designs in electrical and mechanical simulations. Expect hands-on experience applying AI-driven optimization techniques to simulation workflows, enhancing product performance and efficiency.
You will take on the following tasks:
- Develop and implement generative AI models for design optimization
- Integrate AI algorithms with Finite Element Method (FEM) and other simulation tools
- Analyze simulation results and propose design improvements
- Collaborate with engineers to automate optimization workflows
- Document methodologies and present findings to the team
Your qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong Python skills (AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch a plus)
- Knowledge of optimization techniques and simulation tools (FEM, CAD)
- Familiarity with generative AI (GANs, diffusion models, etc.)
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-physics or electromagnetic/mechanical simulations
- Understanding of design optimization algorithms (genetic, topology optimization)
