IBM Mainframe Developer - Payment Integrations area

emagine is looking for an IBM Mainframe Developer for the Payment Integrations area to one of our nordic banking clients. Start date: 2026-02-16End date: 2026-08-15Location: Flexible Stockholm or Helsinki (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)Developer needs to be skilled senior to be able to:1) Implement the planned changes using his/her technical skills and 2) co-operate with the other members and stakeholders.Must-have knowledge and experience:Key Skills: Mainframes - COBOL, JCL, IMS/DB2-Strong Mainframe Programming experience with COBOL/JCL/DB2/IMS.-Excellent Design and development skills in above mentioned technical stack.-Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role.-Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.-Demonstrated problem-solving skills & able to independently solve technical problems.-Creative, Quick learner and excellent team player and ability to meet tight deadlines.Nice-to-have knowledge and experience:-Knowledge of Java/Mainframe Integration (IMS,JCA) would be nice to have.-Knowledge of Authentication/Authorization methods using Hash functions (SHA-2)/ Security Tokens would be a plus.
