Head of Logistics (m/w/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Head of Logistics (m/f/d) for a specific warehouse area. In this position, you will be responsible for managing efficient warehouse and logistics processes within your area, leading and coordinating the team, and supporting our customers. The goal is to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable order processing while maintaining a high level of service.

Tasks

• Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and optimize warehouse processes.
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels and accurate tracking of all products.
• Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on key warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment performance, and on-time delivery.
• Manage customer communication, responding to client requests via email, in English and German.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.

Profile

• Completed vocational training in logistics or a relevant field (e.g. Bachelor's or Master’s degree); additional qualifications in logistics are considered a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the role, including people management responsibilities.
• Solid knowledge of inventory management, logistics processes, and warehouse operations.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Proven experience in client and customer relationship management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Very good proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
