This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing rating logic, rate books, and pricing algorithms within Guidewire.This position supports the U.S. insurance market, and a 3–4 hour overlap with U.S. working hours is expected.What you will do:Rating Logic & Product ModelingDesign and implement rating logic, rate books, and pricing algorithms in Guidewire (primarily PolicyCenter).Translate actuarial and underwriting requirements into configurable, auditable rating engines.Implement rating worksheets, modifiers, tiers, eligibility criteria, and rating factors.Technical ImplementationDevelop and enhance product definition components using Gosu, XML, and Guidewire Product Model tools.Ensure premium calculations are accurate, performant, transparent, and compliant with U.S. regulatory standards.Participate in configuration of business rules, validation logic, and underwriting workflows that depend on rating outputs.Collaboration & Knowledge SharingWork closely with Actuarial, Underwriting, Product Management, Architecture, and QA teams.Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and release planning.Create and maintain documentation for rating logic and product rules.Support cross‑team knowledge sharing within a multi‑vendor, distributed delivery environment.What we are looking for:2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer or Rating Developer.Practical experience with:Rating Engine, rate books, pricing logic, product modelingGosu, Guidewire Configuration FrameworkXML, PCF, and Guidewire Product Model toolsStrong understanding of P&C insurance rating concepts (coverages, limits, factors, modifiers, eligibility rules).Experience working in projects aligned to U.S. insurance market requirements is a strong advantage.Additional Expectations:3–4 hour daily overlap with U.S. working hours.Fluent English.Nice to have:Experience with Java or Guidewire integrations (SOAP/REST).Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter, Configuration, Rating).Familiarity with U.S. state‑specific rating rules and regulatory patterns.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Perks and benefits (our offer):Comprehensive benefits package – private medical care, sports card, language lessons, training platforms, and certification support.Flexibility – remote-first model and flexible working hours.Career development – training, mentorship, and paths toward Senior Rating Developer, Product Model Lead, or Solution Architect roles.International environment – collaboration with U.S.-based teams and enterprise‑level insurance clients.Stable and mature organization – strong delivery processes with openness to innovation.Community life – internal tech events, knowledge-sharing initiatives, CSR activities, and team gatherings.Welcome pack – a great start to your journey with us.Recruitment process:HR callInterview with the client / hiring managerFinal decision & feedbackSounds interesting?Click “Apply” and let’s discuss how you can help us build accurate, compliant, and high‑performing rating solutions for the U.S. insurance market.
