General Accounting Specialist

Zakres obowiązków Perform and review complex balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities and jurisdictions Ensure reconciliations comply with US GAAP / IFRS / Local GAAP and internal controls Reconcile bank accounts and cash postings, including monitoring aged items Analyze and resolve complex reconciling differences, including preparation of journal entries Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial fluctuations and risk areas Ensure alignment between subledgers and the general ledger across systems Collaborate with global finance teams (including US stakeholders) Drive standardization and process improvements in reconciliation processes Support global close activities and ensure adherence to tight deadlines Leverage tools (e.g., FloQast or similar) to improve reconciliation efficiency and transparency Wymagania 2+ years of experience in accounting / financial reporting Strong experience in balance sheet reconciliations and GL analysis Solid understanding of end-to-end accounting flows (AP, accruals, cash, GL) Experience with bank reconciliations and cash processes Exposure to multiple accounting standards (US GAAP / IFRS / Local GAAP) Strong analytical skills and experience in variance investigation Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas) Experience in a global / multi-entity environment Fluent English (daily interaction with international stakeholders) Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Oferujemy Comfortable office location in Gdańsk Oliwa Hybrid work model: 4 days per week from the office and 1 day per week from home Private medical care (Lux Med) Life insurance (Unum) Benefits platform (with the option to purchase a Multisport card) Employee Capital Plans (PPK) Annual bonus
