In this role, you’ll play a key part in building and maintaining a robust frontend design system and reusable components used across the company’s core products.As the company continues to grow into the mid-market and enterprise segments, this role will be instrumental in ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience through the use of scalable UI architecture and best practices. Your first project will focus on designing and implementing a data grid component and integrating it into several key product areas in close collaboration with other product teams.Responsibilities:Design, build, optimize, and maintain data and core platform functionalityWork across the our full product stack to develop and improve product featuresParticipate in the product development process from start to finish, from scoping projects to measuring their success and iterating based on feedbackMaintain high engineering and security standards, and continuously improve our codebases and processesWork with engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scaleRequirements:4+ years experience in a software engineering roleYou have strong computer science fundamentals (data structures/algorithms)You have experience with both frontend and backend developmentYou exhibit strong verbal and written communication skillsYou demonstrate proficiency with Django and ReactYou have experience with a relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQLYou have demonstrated a track record of taking responsibility and ownership over core product areasYou have a sharp attention to detail, and a user-centric focusYou have experience making data-driven decisions on product and processYou have experience building a positive remote-first cultureNice to have:Proficiency with Typescript, AWS, Cypress, and/or Chakra UIThe offer:Base compensation up to 8 250 USD monthlyEquitiesUnlimited PTOLatest Apple hardwareQuarterly mental health days to support well-beingWork anniversary stipend to treat yourself (e.g., travel, home upgrade, fine dining)
