FinOps Specialist

We’re looking for a FinOps Specialist to help us manage cloud costs and drive sound financial decisions across multi-cloud environments.This role is all about visibility, optimization, and impact. You will work at the intersection of Cloud, Finance, and Engineering — helping teams understand where money is spent and how to spend it better.RequirementsProven experience in cloud financial management, preferably in GCP environmentsHands-on experience with tools such as Google Cloud Billing, Budgets & Alerts, BigQuery, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud LoggingStrong experience in creating and managing cloud budgets and cost controlsExperience in configuring GCP environments in line with FinOps principles (e.g., tagging, project structure, limits)Ability to bridge technical and financial domains and work effectively with cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with automation tools such as Terraform or AnsibleExperience in training or educating teams on FinOps best practicesKnowledge of Google Cloud Landing Zone AcceleratorAbility to design and implement processesResponsibilitiesManage and optimize cloud spending within Google Cloud PlatformDesign, monitor, and control cloud budgets across business units and projectsAnalyze cloud usage and identify cost-saving opportunitiesImplement and promote FinOps best practices (tagging, governance, budgeting, cost allocation)Configure and enhance cost monitoring tools (reporting, alerts, dashboards)Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and finance teams to improve cost transparencyDevelop and standardize FinOps processes and frameworksAutomate cost control and optimization activitiesDeliver training sessions and promote FinOps awareness across teamsWe OfferB2B contract and stable, long-term cooperationLuxmed private medical careMultisport sports cardHybrid work (1 x per week visit to the office in Warsaw)Recruitment process:HR interview - 20 minMeeting with the client - 1 hour
