As DALIM SOFTWARE GmbH continues to grow, the company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Kehl, Germany.

Your tasks

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, he/she will be part of an international team of 6 people.

The finance team uses SAP and SKR04. The Financial Accountant will play a critical role in handling the accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely monthly closings, and preparing comprehensive financial reports. He/she will also have the opportunity to bring his/her analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills in strategic cross-department projects.

Accounting

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Process and monitor expense reports and reimbursements.
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions into our tech stack.

Monthly Closing and Reporting

• Reconcile and analyse account balances to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies and variances in financial data.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Assist in the consolidation of international group entities into comprehensive reports.
• Provide insights and analysis on financial performance and variances.

Miscellaneous Financial Projects

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
• Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Hard skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and German, other languages would be appreciated.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• 5 to 12 years’ experience in accounting or finance preferred, but not required.

• Work Hours: Full-time, with flexible hours.
• Remote Work Policy: On-site, remote by exception.
• Reporting Line: Reports to the CFO.
• Contract Type: Permanent.
