Expert IT Developer (Data Platform Engineer)

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable data solutions, ensure high-performance data flows, and implement modern integration and DevOps practices. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and autonomy in driving data engineering initiatives from design to production. The candidate should have a strong development background combined with expertise in Oracle DB, SQL/stored procedures, ETL processes, modern integration patterns and DevOps practices.    Responsibilities you'll have Designing, building, and maintaining scalable ELT pipelines Developing and optimizing PL/SQL queries and Oracle database objects for high-performance data storage Writing Python-based data engineering scripts for data processing and transformation Implementing CI/CD pipelines supporting data infrastructure and workflow automation Managing database changes and ensuring robust version control practices Working with one or more major cloud vendors to deliver secure and scalable solutions Monitoring, debugging, and optimizing data workflows and overall infrastructure performance Ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance with best practices     Expected competences and knowledge Strong Python and PL/SQL skills Hands-on experience with ETL tools Proficiency in designing OLAP systems, including STAR schema modelling and denormalization techniques Understanding of batch and streaming processing, including hands-on experience with Kafka Knowledge of database management across Oracle, MS SQL, and Snowflake Practical understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD practices (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform; tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps) Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot, Selenium) and understanding of different testing scenarios Solid knowledge of version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab) Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect Strong command of English (written and spoken)   Technologies you'll work with PL/SQL, Python Oracle, MS SQL, Snowflake  Kafka ELT/ETL tools Git, GitHub, GitLab Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform CI/CD Robot Framework, Selenium     Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
