We believe in transparency and open dialogue.What You’ll Do:Leadership & Team ManagementLead, support, and grow engineering teams, with a strong focus on people development, motivation, and sustainable deliveryBuild a culture of ownership, trust, collaboration, and continuous improvementConduct regular 1:1s, provide honest feedback, support career growth, and address performance issues when neededEnsure healthy team dynamics and effective collaboration Delivery & ExecutionOwn delivery across teams, ensuring clear priorities, realistic planning, and predictable outcomesManage and continuously refine prioritisation across infrastructure, operational, and enablement initiativesEnsure risks, technical debt, and delivery issues are surfaced early and managed proactivelyUse data (e.g. DORA metrics, operational signals, delivery predictability) to guide decisions and improvementsTechnical & Strategic AlignmentPartner closely with senior engineers and Tech Leads to:support platform modernisation and cloud migration initiativesevolve shared infrastructure, CI/CD, and operational toolingestablish and promote architectural standards and best practicesAct as a bridge between strategic technical direction and day-to-day executionEnsure platform work is aligned with business goals and delivers clear value to development teamsCollaborate and negotiate with external vendors and technology partnersOwn and manage the technology budgetWho You Are:You have proven experience as a Platform Engineering Manager, IT Operations Manager, or similar, leading delivery-focused engineering teams, min. 4+ yearsYou have experience managing infrastructure powering large-scale online services, ideally global systemsYou bring a strong people leadership style, combined with pragmatic executionYou’re comfortable managing teams working on complex, long-lived technical systems,You can collaborate effectively with senior engineers and technical leadersYou understand modern engineering practices, DevOps/SRE principles, and platform engineering conceptsYou communicate clearly across levels - from hands-on engineers to senior leadershipNice to have experience with cloud and hybrid (cloud & on-prem) infrastructure, and migration to cloudNice to have experience with Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Varnish (or similar technologies)
