Engineering Manager - Hybrid, On-prem AI Infrastructure

Scale the team, build an engineering roadmap and team charter.
Solve unique engineering challenges associated with managing both Google-networked and fully air-gapped hardware environments.
Contribute significantly to the strategic goal for the Hybrid and On-prem Infrastructure business by assisting in defining and delivering architecture and roadmap initiatives.
Collaborate with product and go-to-market leaders to implement strategies for our migrate, modernize, and workload efforts.
Work with peer engineers and other managers within Google teams and external partners to influence product and team direction.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with general purpose systems and infrastructure.
5 years of experience managing or leading a team.
Experience with on-premises/hybrid products.
Experience with cloud platforms.

Experience in systems and software.
Experience contributing to Product, Engineering, or Research teams in complex, cross-functional environments.
Ability to quickly ramp up in new subject areas with short notice.
