We are looking for an Engineering Manager who will lead and support our development team while ensuring we continue to build a high-quality, reliable and scalable platform. The Engineering Manager is responsible for supporting developers in their growth, strengthening team collaboration, and creating an environment where engineers can do their best work. You work closely with product, delivery and technical leadership to ensure the team operates smoothly and continues to evolve with the company. If you thrive in a scale-up environment where ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement matter, this role gives you the opportunity to help shape and grow our engineering team.Key ResponsibilitiesPeople & Culture: Hiring, onboarding and coaching of engineersSupport healthy team communication and alignmentStrengthen collaboration between product, delivery and engineeringTechnical Leadership: Lead and support the development team in their day-to-day workSupport the team in solving complex technical challengesUphold high engineering standards: definition of done, code reviews, testing, security and maintainabilityMake calls on technical debt and refactoring prioritiesProduct & Delivery: Support clear and effective development workflows for the teamDefine outcomes, shape scope and make practical trade-offsIdentify and remove obstacles that slow down developmentEnsure tasks and projects are completed on schedule, with regular progress reporting to the boardRequired Profile7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, including at least 3 years in an Engineering Manager roleProven track record of leading software engineering teamsEnough technical depth to evaluate trade-offs, discuss architecture decisions and lead engineers crediblyFamiliarity with the GoPhoto stack (Go, AWS, TypeScript) is a strong advantageAbility to mentor and coach engineers (onboarding, feedback & growth plans)Excellent communication and cross-team collaborationPractical mindset for improving processes and strengthening accountabilityThe ability to partner effectively with Product Managers, CTO-level leadership and other stakeholdersFluency in English is required, as we operate in an international environment.
