What you will do

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration, implementation and daily management of DevOps-related Business Applications. This includes automating common tasks performed by developer teams, such as code quality analysis and reporting, and process deviation reports. You will also provide support activities and assist developers with continuous integration and deployment.

How you will get the job done

• monitoring and optimizing application performance, including analysis and tuning for improvements
• integrating applications into the existing data centre/cloud landscape with technologies like virtualization, storage/backup, databases, and middleware while ensuring platform compliance with security and legal regulations, e.g. audibility
• consulting projects on infrastructure and platform standards, costs, code reviews, and improvements in security, performance, and automation
• automating and scripting regular maintenance tasks or improving database calls
• assisting with the 24×7 on-call services

Requirements

• fluency in English (min. B2)
• 5+ years of professional experience in the development, improvement and daily administration of .NET solutions
• associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• ideally hands-on experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub for CICD and MS SQL Server
• ability to identify problems, and sources of issues and proactively apply solutions as a team player with good communication skills

Nice to have

• basic knowledge of Linux Red Hat Enterprise
• knowledge of Application & Web Server configuration and troubleshooting like IIS, Tomcat, WebMethods, JBoss, and Kerberos
