DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong database background to join our core engineering team and take ownership of our AWS-based database environments.✅ Your responsibilities:Ownership, administration, and maintenance of a large-scale database environment with 40 to 50 databasesPrimary focus on AWS MySQL and Amazon AuroraOccasional work with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL ServerPerformance tuning and optimization, including high-traffic databasesSupporting development teams with database-related challenges, including query optimization and performance best practicesMonitoring, maintenance, and incident response for database systemsOptional on-call rotationClose collaboration with the core engineering teamContributing to technical decisions and shaping the database and platform roadmap🧠 Our requirements:Proven experience in a DevOps, Database Engineer, or DBA role with strong database ownershipVery good knowledge of MySQL and Amazon AuroraHands-on experience with AWS in production environmentsStrong skills in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of databasesExperience working with environments hosting many databases and multiple applicationsAbility to work closely with developers and improve inefficient queries and data modelsProactive, ownership-driven mindset and willingness to influence technical direction🌟Preferred Qualifications:Experience with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL ServerExposure to high-traffic or business-critical systemsFamiliarity with automation, monitoring, or infrastructure tooling around databases🌟 What we offer:100% remote work (EU time zones).Long-term, stable cooperationPrivate healthcare and Multisport.Direct influence on technical roadmap and standardsChallenging production systems with meaningful scale
