Developer - Capital Markets

What you will do

We are seeking an experienced IT Developer with a strong background in Capital Markets to design, develop, and maintain robust IT solutions supporting trading, risk, and post-trade activities. The role involves working closely with business and IT teams within Asset Management, Asset Servicing, or Investment Banking environments, using modern technologies and APIs.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications supporting Capital Markets activities
• Contribute to the development of scalable and high-performance systems
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Quant teams, and other developers to understand functional requirements
• Implement and consume Open APIs to enable system integration and data exchange
• Develop and maintain services using Java and/or C#
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best development practices
• Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance optimization
• Contribute to system documentation and technical design
• Follow Agile or DevOps development practices

Requirements

MUST

• Previous experience in Capital Markets within an Asset Servicer, Asset Manager, or Investment Bank
• Exposure to trading, risk, valuation, settlement, or reporting systems
• Strong development experience with one or more of the following technologies:

o Java 17

o C# (.NET)

• Good experience working with:

o Open APIs / RESTful services

o JSON data formats

• Knowledge of object-oriented design and software development best practices
• Experience with system integration and data flows
• Understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, etc.)
• Familiarity with the trade lifecycle across Front Office, Middle Office, or Back Office

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
