Your Tasks

• Design, develop and validate machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions.​
• Define and implement data product E2E within assigned domains.​
• ​Partner with domain teams to translate business challenges into analytical problems and solution designs.​
• ​Ensure high technical and governance standards are adhered to in model and product development.
• Communicate actionable insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.​
• Continuously monitor model performance and retrain as necessary.​
• Mentor and collaborate to help our diverse data community increase data literacy and apply modern AI augmented workflows.

Your Profile

• Qualification:

  • Masters degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics or a related field​
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in data and analytics, preferably in a Data Scientist role​
  • Business and Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with various business processes and domains

• Experience and Know-how:

  • Mathematical and statistical excellence: apply state of the artmethodologies to build Data and ML / AI products​
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure and MS Fabric), data lakes and event-driven architectures.​
  • Transformative Skills: Ability to work across teams and influence stakeholders with impactful data storytelling.​
  • Data Governance: Ability to implement data governance into Data and ML / AI Products​

• **Beneficial:**​ Experience with IT Enterprise Architectures and UX concepts like Design Thinking; ​Proven experience working in a decentralised data team setup (Data Mesh)

• Languages: English​; German (optional but preferred)

  • Effective Communicator: Able to convey complex ideas todiverse audiences.​
